This intervention
gives back a normal form to protruding ears.
7 years should be the minimal
age of correction because the ear must have been completed its growth so that
the correction would be lasting.
About 4 to 5 days of convalescence are
recommended along with a sick leave if the intervention has been refunded through
the social security system.
A one month total break with sport and three
months break with combat sport is necessary as well as swimming in sea and pools
without using bonnets.
